Who we are….

The vision of HUSHY has been something that has been brewing for a long time as our community kept growing. Through many conversations at gatherings events, bereavement fundraisings and even birthdays , the discussions have always been centered on creating a self-help organization that reaches the growing community to offer a unified approach on handling the ever increasing bereavement costs. To borrow a leaf from our background, the Harambee spirit has been part of us from as far back as our grassroots and therefore HUSHY was conceived

Deaths in our families are inevitable and being out here makes it even more expensive when it happens. Even though we may not help you meet all your bereavement expenses, we will help you nevertheless.

IT’S AFFORDABLE AND AVAILABLE

We do not discriminate on any basis and since HUSHY is a not-for-profit organization, membership and occurrence contributions are significantly lower than Matanga Harambee contributions. Contact Us if you’d like to speak with a member of the leadership team.

We understand that some of you have been members of organizations like HUSHY that have not withstood the test of time and or have faced challenges that led to their dissolution.
